The knockout stage of the Champions League has been revealed and it’s going to be tough getting through for all 16 teams that remain, three of which are top English Premier League teams. The draw was made on December 14th and with the no seeding rule, it meant the remaining teams could face anyone. We’ve got a while to wait to witness the action unfold as first legs will be held on February 16th, 17th, 23rd and 24th, followed by second legs on March 9th, 10th, 16th and 17th.

Manchester City will head to Borussia Monchengladbach in the first leg in Germany, Liverpool will go head-to-head with RB Leipzig while Frank Lampard’s Chelsea will face Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid who is currently second in the La Liga, on level points with Real Sociedad with two games in hand – that will be one tough cookie for Lampard’s team to overcome!
